This Weeks Menu Plan and My First Step To Becoming More Efficient

Well, the weather has gotten somewhat back to normal. That's really great news since I'm not a fan of such freezing temps. I will be so happy to have our beautiful spring weather. Soon...

I've been working on improving my daily routine to better my efficiency. I've discovered that changing small things at a time are the sure way to go. In the past, I placed too many items on my to-do list, and it has never, ever worked out. I would quickly get frustrated with all there was to do. Then I would just freeze. I would get too overwhelmed and just give up on everything I needed to do. Dinner time would come along and I wasn't prepared and had to ask my husband to bring home dinner because I didn't get to it.

I got sick of being that way. Living without efficiency is so stressful and frustrating.

So I've been making small additions to my daily schedule each day. The first thing I changed was emptying my dishwasher in the morning. I made it a part of my routine to empty the dishwasher first thing in the morning while my coffee is brewing. I would normally wait to empty it when I'm ready to start putting dirty dishes in. Now, my dishwasher is empty and ready to roll whenever I need it.

You wouldn't believe how that small change has made my day go more smoothly. Some days I like to do a round of freezer cooking or batch baking. Having my dishwasher ready to put dishes in makes me feel so accomplished. This keeps me from having an overwhelming pile of dirty dishes in the sink. I am slowly but surely working towards my goal to become more efficient
